Nearly fifty OLOR students braved the weather on Tuesday to represent our school at the Diocesan Cross Country Carnival at Sydney Motorsport Park. All of the students positively represented OLOR and tried their best - we're very proud of you! Congratulations to those students who achieved one of the top placings in their age group and will go on to represent Parramatta Diocese at the next level of competition.

Happy Mothers Day! On Thursday, our school community gathered together to give thanks to God for the gift of mothers in our lives, and for the many women who love and care for us. Following our Celebration of the Word, we shared in a Rug and Read picnic. Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and friends who joined us, and we hope that all the mums in the OLOR community are having a wonderful day today.

With Holy Week during the school holidays next week, we have taken time in prayer to remember Jesus' journey to the cross. After recalling Palm Sunday, the Last Supper and Jesus' praying the Garden of Gethsemane, our Holy Week commemorations culminated today in grades praying the Stations of the Cross at the Franciscan Friary. We invite you to participate in the Holy Week and Easter celebrations next week in our parish - visit https://olorparishkellyville.org.au/ for the full schedule. We look forward to celebrating Easter when we return to school on Wednesday 30 April.
